Sign up Now! Mother’s Day Novena May 6th - 14th
This year a novena of Masses will be offered at St. Ambrose for living and deceased mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and any other special women from Saturday, May 6 through Sunday, May 14. A Mass will be offered each day for this intention. If you would like to participate in the novena, please use the prayer cards and envelopes that will be in the church until the end of the novena. The prayer cards with the names of the intentions will be placed in a special binder on the altar for the duration of the novena. A suggested offering for the novena is $10.00. Envelopes and prayer cards may be returned to the parish office or placed in the weekend collection.
April 27th, 2017 - St. Ambrose Seniors
Welcome spring! This month the Seniors will be going to Libations in Millersville for lunch. Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 27th at 12:30pm. Please let us know whether you will be joining us. Call Nancy at 301-322-2574 or Susan at 301-773-1396 by April 25th to make a reservation.
April 30th, 2017 - Food Sale for Sound Equipment
Next Sunday, April 30, there will be a food sale following both Masses sponsored by our parish choirs to support the purchase of some new sound equipment for our church, including new microphones, cables, and other equipment. This will be a small step towards upgrading the entire sound system. There will be grilled chicken, grilled steak, rice, beans, salad, tortillas, and drinks available. All are welcome!
May 4th,2017 - Calendar Meeting for all Ministry Leaders

May 6th, 2017 - Asia and Pacific Island Catholic Marian Pilgrimage
The 15th annual Asian and Pacific Island Catholics Marian Pilgrimage will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 12:00 p.m.– 4:00p.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the immaculate conception, 400 Michigan Avenue, N.E, Washington DC 20017. Cardinal Donald Wuerl will be the celebrant and homilist for the Mass.
May 12th-29th, 2017 - Father Guevara Visits from our Sister Parish & Raffle for the Virgin de Guadalupe Mosaic
Father Vicente Guevara, the pastor of our sister parish, is coming to visit St. Ambrose May 12-29th. We will be sponsoring several events to raise money to support our projects in San Agustin and will need your help! First up - help us sell raffle tickets for the beautiful mosaic of the Virgin de Guadalupe, being raffled off during Father Guevara's visit May 28th.

June 25th, 2017 - Marriage Jubilarian Mass
Cardinal Donald Wuerl will celebrate the annual Jubilarian Mass honoring couples married 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 51+ years, which will be held on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. (see above - Registration closes Monday, April 24th).
July 8th - 17th, 2017 Mission Trip to San Agustin, El Salvador
Come with us to visit our Sister Parish in San Agustin, El Salvador. We are planning our next mission trip from Saturday July 8th - Monday July 17th. We will be working on projects to support the poor and the local children with disabilities. You can get to know the parish and the town, see firsthand the projects that St. Ambrose has sponsored over the last several years, visit our families in their homes and workplaces, and experience the joy of sharing our common faith and strengthening the friendship between our communities.
