Eighth graders (8G) created this poster as they learned about the great St. Augustine who was a mentor to our patron, St. Ambrose. St. Augustine is represented by a burning heart pierced by arrows in the stainglass window in the choir loft of the church.
For our first service project this year, we collected over 300 shoes and 1000 socks for the children of our sister parish in El Salvador, whose patron is St. Augustine- the parish of San Agustin.
Third grade won the "sock wars" in the school by collecting 236 pairs of socks!
