It has been really wild around here lately. “Wild” in the sense that there have been so many activities happening in and around the parish over the last few weeks that it could make your head spin. All of these activities do not just happen on their own. So many of you dedicate your time and effort to plan, organize and clean up after parish events. I am a pastor who watches all these activities with amazement and gratitude (although I don’t do much of the work).
So many of us are strengthened and encouraged through our association with the Saint Ambrose community and our connection to one another. All the service, sacramental, social, athletic and spiritual activities and events are the glue that keeps us connected.
In this letter I could never thank all of you who work so hard to make these events happen. I know how essential you are to the life of this community. It’s nothing short of greatness. Thank you, thank you, and thank you.
