Once again, in the past weeks, several parishioners and staff members have been contacted or received emails or text con artists masquerading as Fr. Charlie. Often they ask them to purchase gift cards on his behalf or to do other things for him. Please be aware that this is a fraud. These emails and texts are NOT coming from Fr. Charlie. Do not reply to those solicitations to avoid falling victim to these scammers.
The St Vincent De Paul Society is urgently looking for the following items to keep our food pantry ready to meet the ongoing needs of our community. Items can be donated in the bin in the entrance area of the church & every item is personally delivered by a member of St. VdeP. Thank you for your continued generosity! Items Needed: Soup, Cereal Spaghetti, Pasta sauce, Macaroni & cheese, Mashed potatoes, Peanut butter, Jelly, Fruit (applesauce, diced fruit), Canned meat (chicken, beef stew, corned beef, spam), & Laundry detergent
As disciples, we seek to imitate Jesus. An important aspect of Jesus' life was prayer. So, we, too, need to pray. Remembering to pray for each other at noon is one way to be a disciple.
The Ministry Fair raises awareness among parishioners about how much is being done within our community and shows how we are a community striving to experience the living God.
As many of our children celebrate their First Holy Communion, we have a chance to reflect on why gathering every Sunday to celebrate the Eucharist is so important.
