The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process for welcoming adult inquirers into the Roman Catholic Church. The RCIA is a spiritual journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. The main purpose of RCIA is to assist prospective Catholics to learn more about the Faith and to become active members of the Church. RCIA is for adults who have never received baptism, who were baptized in another Christian denomination and desire to embrace the Catholic Faith, who were baptized as Catholics, left the Church, and now wish to be instructed so that they may know and practice the Faith. At St. Ambrose, the RCIA meets weekly, beginning in August, culminating with the Easter Vigil and Feast of Pentecost.
Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos (RICA) Este proceso de formación está diseñado para aquellos que quieran formar parte de la Iglesia Católica o completar los sacramentos de iniciación (Bautizo, Confirmación y Eucaristía). Para inscribirse puede comunicarse con la oficina parroquial o vernos después de misa los domingos en Ambrosio a Ti.
Este año se ofrecerán tres oportunidades de formación semanales:
RICA I: martes de 7:00pm a 9:15pm comenzando con Misa - primer día será el 25 de Julio
RICA II: sábados durante la catequesis de 4:45pm a 6:15pm - primer día será el 9 de septiembre
RICA III: domingos de 10:45am a 12:45pm - primer día será el 10 de septiembre
